Kwantlen Polytechnic University invites you to a day of workshops and performances for percussion and woodwinds! Join KPU faculty and a roster of other celebrated artists to learn the essentials of wind and percussion playing. This event is open to everyone including high school and post-secondary students, teachers, and music enthusiasts of all ages! The Woodwind Workshop runs from 9:30am-3:30pm Clincis with Francois Houle (clarinet), Paolo Bortolussi (flute), Marea Chernoff (oboe), Allan Thorpe (bassoon), and Julia Nolan (saxophone), plus a woodwind masterclass, and a woodwind ensemble! The Day of Percussion runs from 10:00am-4:00pm Clinics by Issah Conctractor (drum set), Paul Bray (samba-reggae), and Yamaha USA artist Terry Longshore (contemporary percussion).
