Attached below is a little ad for an event we are having at Kwantlen. As of now, we only have 11 people signed up, so feel free to promote as you see fit!

I can vouch for the greatness of the faculty, and I will also be helping out (and possibly performing) along with a few of the other top students on each instrument.

Kwantlen Polytechnic University invites you to a day of workshops and performances for percussion and woodwinds! Join KPU faculty and a roster of other celebrated artists to learn the essentials of wind and percussion playing. This event is open to everyone including high school and post-secondary students, teachers, and music enthusiasts of all ages! The Woodwind Workshop runs from 9:30am-3:30pm Clincis with Francois Houle (clarinet), Paolo Bortolussi (flute), Marea Chernoff (oboe), Allan Thorpe (bassoon), and Julia Nolan (saxophone), plus a woodwind masterclass, and a woodwind ensemble! The Day of Percussion runs from 10:00am-4:00pm Clinics by Issah Conctractor (drum set), Paul Bray (samba-reggae), and Yamaha USA artist Terry Longshore (contemporary percussion). Performances by Terry Longshore, Fringe Percussion, and many others. Tickets are $20, include lunch, and are available at: http://kpumusicworkshop.bpt.me/
